Getting a Rodney

So, after many ...minutes of me and my sister trying to persuade my mum to let us get a puppy, she finally said yes! Well it didn't take her long. After making some phone calls and looking online we eventually found a couple who was expecting their dog to have puppies. 

About a month later our little puppy was born and we decided to call him Rodney! We had to make some changes around the house and puppy proof the place, but once that was done he was ready to come home. 

The day had arrived to pick our little pup up and I couldn't wait. When my sister came home with him I couldn't believe how small he still was. He looked tiny compared to everything in the house and I don't think the cats were very happy about the fact their was a new member of the family.

When Rodney came home he fitted into the family like he had been there forever. From getting him at 8 weeks to now being 13 weeks old he has been so good. Luckily now we can take him for walks to tire him out but he still get up at 5:00am...which is a pain for my mum and sister. He is such a good little puppy (when he wants to be) but he has honestly made a change in our house and they do say "A dog is a family's best friend". 

Advice: Never leave your puppy on his own where their are things for him to eat. For example; a glass table, a sofa, a carpet ect.
