Jades Fundraising Night

Hi guys, I want to tell you about a charity event that is taking place soon and also tell you about a very brave and inspiring woman called Jade.

Jade is a 23 year old woman with three children aged five, three and two. On Friday the 23rd of May Jade was taken into hospital with breathing difficulties little did her and her family know that she would then be diagnosed with leukemia. Jade is currently undergoing chemotherapy but is unable to go home or to see her children due to infections. She is also having to wait in hospital for a bone marrow transplant. 

This is where close friend Sonia comes into the story. With all this happening Sonia isnt the sort of person that will just sit back and do nothing instead she is the sort of person that does the exact opposite. To bring back some normality into her family's life Sonia decided to hold a charity event where she would use the money to pay for a holiday for Jade, Shaun and the children as something to look forward to while she was in hospital. At this charity event Sonia announced a few months ago that she will be shaving her hair off to raise even more money. 

The event will take place on Wednesday the 6th of August at 6:00pm at The Pelham Arms Portsmouth. At the event there will be live music and a DJ as well as blackout and hopefully an auction. The hair shaving will take place at 7:45 due to children not being able to stay passed 8:00.

It would mean everything to myself, Sonia and Jade if you could attend the event and support Sonia in her hair shaving. I feel that Sonia is so inspirational because of what she is doing for her friend and I can't begin to think how nerve-racking it must be but everyone is behind her supporting her and know that it will be worth it in the end. I know what Jade and her family is going through and it is horrible and I wouldn't wish it on anyone so I pray that everything works out for her and her children.
