Pick Of The Month 1 - Review

This is going to be the first of my 'Pick of the month' blogs. It came to the point where everything in my make up bag was running low especially my foundation. So I decided to treat myself to a new one.

 The new foundation I picked up was the 'Maybelline New York Dream Satin Liquid in the shade Ivory 010' (link below). I can honestly say this is the best foundation I have ever used. Its also a reasonable price at £7.99. It says its an "air-whipped foundation with an air brush finish" and it really is. It feels so light on my skin and blends in so well. It doesn't leave any patches or lumpiness either. It leaves you with a 100%  pore-less look and makes your skin look so natural and refreshed. It comes in 8 different shades, however even though it doesn't sound like many it is so pigmented that one shade can suit a variety of skin tones.

The thing I love about this is it doesn't leave you feeling like your make up is caked on. It feels like you have just enough coverage that gives you the confidence you need to carry on with your day. 

I would highly recommend this product as you can wear it in all seasons and it is perfect if you want the air brushed look without having to pile the make up on. I will definitely be buying this product again and it is high quality and a good price. 



  
Advice: If your not sure on your skin colour test the foundation on your wrist or on the side of your hand as that is the closest matching colour.
